Quality and ISO 9001:2015

Cast urethane is unforgiving of a bad ratio or a cold mold. The quality system exists to make sure neither ever leaves the building.

Certified to ISO 9001:2015

Titan Works Manufacturing’s quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015. Our certificate is available as a PDF download and on request for your approved supplier list.

What the system covers

Incoming material. Polyurethane components and inserts are received against purchase specifications, logged by lot, and stored under controlled conditions. Supplier certifications are retained.

Process control. Work instructions define ratio, component temperature, mold temperature, and cure schedule for each part. The dispensing machine controls the first three. Operators verify and record.

In-process inspection. Durometer and visual checks at defined intervals during a run catch drift before it becomes a lot problem.

Final inspection. Dimensions are checked against the print with calibrated instruments. Hardness is measured per ASTM D2240. Records are kept by lot and provided with shipments when requested.

Traceability. Every shipment can be traced back to the material lots, the operator, the machine settings, and the inspection results.

Corrective action. When something does go wrong, a documented process finds the cause, fixes it, and verifies the fix. Customers see the report.

Why it matters for cast urethane

Two things ruin urethane parts: an off-ratio mix and a wrong cure. Neither is visible on the surface. A part can look perfect and fail in service because it was poured two percent rich or demolded cold. The only defense is controlling the process and proving it with records. That is what the system is for.

Common questions

Can I get a copy of your ISO certificate?
Yes. It is linked at the bottom of every page and available on request with our W-9 and capabilities statement for your supplier file.
How do you check hardness?
With calibrated Shore A and Shore D durometer gauges on cured samples from each lot, per ASTM D2240. Results are recorded against the specification.
Do you provide material certifications?
Yes. Raw material certifications from our supplier are retained by lot and can be provided with shipments on request.
