How the shop came to be

Titan Works started as a small polyurethane operation casting suspension components for the automotive aftermarket. During the pandemic, Alex Van Drie was working for an aerospace diagnostics company, traveling to jet engine test cells around the world. When that travel stopped, a friend who owned the shop asked for help. Alex came in, learned the process, and over the next few years took the business over when the founder moved on to ministry work.

The run sizes the big casters stopped taking

There are only a handful of companies in the world casting polyurethane elastomer at scale, and several of them are overseas. The largest domestic players are structured for programs worth tens of millions of dollars. When a part falls below that threshold, it gets quoted high, pushed to the back of the schedule, or dropped at the next renewal.
